Barre Babies is a fun and challenging class that is great for rebuilding strength and stability after birthing a baby. Our instructors are specially trained to make barre a safe and effective, paying special attention to pelvic and abdominal health. Barre allows each participant to work at their own pace and our small classes allow for individualized attention and modifications to accommodate injuries or imbalances.
All moms (6 weeks postpartum and up) are welcome and babies that are not yet walking are welcome too!
Barre is a low impact exercise program that promotes strength and flexibility through small, isometric movements. Targeting arms, core, seat and thighs, barre is a full body workout set to upbeat music. Strengthening of each muscle group is followed by a stretch series to help promote long, lean muscles and improve flexibility. This low impact class is designed to be safe and effective in helping women with abdominal and pelvic floor concerns increase strength and aid healing. No ballet experience necessary!
