Connect with other newborn Moms + their babies!
The 4th Trimester 4-week series
brings newborn moms together in a safe and non-judgemental space. The class brings the tools of mindfulness and yoga to moms of infants in an accessible, and realistic way.
Each week we start with a gentle movement practice including safe core stabilization and poses to help new moms with tight shoulders and sore backs. Then we move onto a group discussion that encourages each woman to reflect on her individual experience as a mother. Our discussions focus on navigating the transitions that seem to come so continually and quickly as our bodies and minds shift through motherhood. Each class concludes with a simple guided relaxation or visualization exercise that moms can repeat at home.
September Series – September 11th, 18th, 25th and October 2nd
October Series – October 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th
“It takes a village, come find yours.”
This class is suitable for moms two weeks to six months postpartum. Although, we sometimes share some of our experience as moms, this is not a parenting class. Our goal is to help you embrace your own style as mother and to bring you a village to cheer you on. You got this, mama!
